Week 33 Recipe
GRANDMA RUTH’S MACARONI & CHEESE
Submitted by Virginia aka the “Duck”, from Verbank, New York.
TOOLS
• Large Saucepan
• Colander
• Mixing Bowl
• Wooden Spoon
• Whisk
• 1 ½ qt baking dish
  INGREDIENTS
2 eggs
2 tbsp all purpose flour
3/4 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
2½ cups milk
1½ cup shredded, sharp
   cheddar cheese
PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat baking dish with cooking spray. Prepare macaroni according to package directions, drain well, put into baking dish. In mixing bowl combine the milk, eggs, flour, salt and pepper. Pour sauce over the macaroni and gently fold to blend. Top with the shredded cheese. Bake 30 minutes or until mixture is set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

HINTS: I would fold a cup of the cheese into the macaroni and use ½ cup to sprinkle on the top. This is a very mild dish so I served it with a turkey meatloaf with spicy tomato chutney, which will be featured next week.
