NEW YORK STYLE TACO SALAD
Submitted by Suzy from Connelly, New York, who says this is a favorite at family gatherings.
TOOLS:
• 10" Frying Pan
• Large Salad Bowl
• Cutting Board
• Knife
• Mandolin (optional)
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 10 ½ Oz Bag of nacho cheese Doritos,
   crushed
• 1 lb Lean ground meat, cooked drained
   and cooled
• 16 oz Shredded cheddar or taco cheese
• 2 diced tomatoes
• 1 Small head of lettuce, shredded (or 1/2
   of a large head)
• 1 large bottle Catalina dressing (16oz)
• Black Olives, sliced (optional)

PREPARATION:

Mix the whole darn thing together, serve and furgetaboutit! (Said with a New York accent)

HINTS: If you want your salad crunchy, do not add the Catalina dressing until you are ready to serve. One of my tasters thought the salad was even better the next day. For those of you who prefer a spicier version, you might add sliced Jalapeno peppers instead of the black olives.
